World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy (WFATT)

2016 Strategic Planning Meeting

On January 22-23, 2016, WFATT members from around the world met in Dallas, Texas to create a new strategic plan. The working group developed a recommendation for a new vision, mission statement, and a five-point strategic plan going forward for the next five years. The main thrust of the plan will be to place Athletic Training and Therapy on the global stage as a contributing partner, in collaboration with other like-minded health professionals. The recommendations will be brought forward for ratification at the next WFATT annual meeting in June 2016.

Thank you to Glen Bergeron, Chair of CATA’s International Relations Committee (IRC), and Dexter Nelson, member of IRC and Vice-President of WFATT, for their ongoing commitment to growing AT on the international stage.
